The Sampling KIT, the most advanced CBRN sampling solution available in the market, provides complete coverage for all sampling needs and transfer for laboratory analysis. The user-friendly kit contains four (4) modules for swab (chemical & biological), liquid and soil collection. Designed for users wearing cumbersome protective gear, the kit meets laboratory requirements for quantity and quality of samples. Manufactured from high-quality materials for rigidity and durability, it is suitable for all field conditions.
According to Gilad Golan, Manager of the CBRN Unit at Supergum, "This product was developed in response to the need for a functional kit that enables optimal collection, marking, and storage of collected material, without fear of leakage. In the past, provisional stopgap measures were used which made documentation, packing, storage, and transport of material to the lab difficult."
The Active Air Sample is a lightweight, compact device for the sampling of very low concentrations of a wide range of hazardous materials in the air. It is based on a Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) tube and an air mini-pump powered by a standard "C" battery. The SPE tube contains a polymeric sorbent capable of adsorbing target molecules in the air. The easy-to-use device provides two (2) modes of operation; in the short mode, it can be operated for one (1) hour and in the long mode, for up to six (6) hours, according to requirements in the field.
Mr. Golan added, "We developed this solution in order to provide a more accurate indication of the level and amount of material remaining in the area following air purification. Up to now, CBRN units have used devices that provide only superficial detection, delivering only a basic indication of whether or not there is a dangerous substance in the area. Our solution provides considerably more detailed information, on the basis of which it is possible to continue to decontaminate the area until complete purification is achieved."
