Lt General Avinash Das takes over as Commandant of Army Hospital Research & Referral
Lt General Avinash Das, an accomplished ENT surgeon, has held important positions including Senior Advisor in Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt and Command Hospital, Lucknow. As Commandant, Command Hospital (Northern Command), he was instrumental in shifting the entire Command Hospital, Udhampur to a new, state-of-the-art hospital building.
Lt General C.G. Muralidharan assumes office as Director General of Medical Services (Army)
Lt General Muralidharan was commissioned into the Army Medical Corps in 1987. A renowned radiologist, the General Officer has had an illustrious career marked by a fine balance of command, staff and instructional appointments.
